Hushpuppi Could Face Up To 10 Years, If Found Guilty


Embattled Nigerian socialite and Real Estate Developer, Raymond Igbalode popularly called Hushpuppi is likely to face a 10-year-jail term following his arrest by the FBI and INTERPOL.

Hushpuppi was arrested by FBI and INTERPOL in Dubai over allegations of fraud.

His accomplice Woodberry was also arrested in the US for allegedly collaborating with the Instagram celebrity to hack the US database of unemployed Americans and wiring a transfer of about $100m meant to be given to unemployed Americans and also for the purchase of COVID-19 ventilators.

According to the US law, if Ray Hushpuppi stands trial in the US and found guilty, he might be sentenced to not less than 10 years.
