Suspected hoodlums on Friday looted COVID palliatives kept in warehouses located on the premises of Cocoa Processing Industrial, Ede, Osun State.
In video footage of the incident obtained by our correspondent, people were seeing carrying packs of noodles and bags of rice out of the premises.
The lawmaker representing Ede North State Constituency, Kofoworola Babajide, confirmed the incident.
He said, “They broke the warehouse before military men got there.”

And this is coming barely 24 hours that a vehicle of the Nigerian police was seen being loaded with food items after irate youths busted a COVID-19 warehouse at Monkey Village, Maza Maza.
Rampaging youths in Lagos State on Thursday discovered a warehouse where COVID-19 palliatives were hidden.
The COVID-19 palliatives, reportedly meant for residents of Festac-Okota but were withheld in the warehouse.
In a viral video, the angry youths are seen looting the warehouse and carting away food items such as rice, beans, yams, and other food items.
In the course of this, four people are said to have died from stampede as people struggled to gain entrance into the warehouse.
However, it remains uncertain who may have hidden the palliatives believed to have been released by the government to cushion the effect of COVID-19 on the people.
The warehouse was one of the many places set ablaze by Lagos youths following the escalation of the End SARS crisis.

Another video shows a police vehicle being loaded with food items in the area as the rage in Lagos continues.
Meanwhile, vice President, Yemi Osinbajo has condemned the killing of protesters at Lekki tollgate on Tuesday.
Osinbajo, in a tweet on Wednesday, also mourned policemen who were killed during the protest.
As days of rage continues in different part of Lagos, a vehicle of the Nigerian police was seen loaded with food items after irate youths busted a COVID-19 warehouse at Monkey Village, Maza Maza.
He promised that all victims will get justice and prayed against more tragedies.
