Oke-Ogun leader Alhaji Abu Gbadamosi mourns late former Oyo Governor Abiola Ajimobi

The former Chairman, Oyo State Teaching Service Commission and APC leader in Oke-Ogun region, Honourable (Alh.) Abu Adejare Gbadamosi, on Saturday paid tribute to late Abiola Ajimobi described his death as a complete loss to the country and Oyo State in particular.

Abu, described late Abiola Ajimobi as an achiever, who came, saw and actually conquered.

“I sincerely condole with his family, especially his amiable wife, and children, the government and people of our dear state.

”We will surely miss him and we therefore pray Almighty God overlook his shortcomings, forgive his sins and admit him in His highest Paradise.” he said.

Ajimobi, who had been on a life support machine at First Cardiology Hospital in Ikoyi, Lagos, after slipping into a coma on Thursday.

The former Chief Executive Officer, National Oil and Chemical Marketing Company, a subsidiary of Shell Nigeria, died due to underlying health conditions, which was worsened.

The death of the former governor of Oyo State was disclosed by an undisclosed source.
