The National President and Leader of the late Fredrick Fasheun-led Oodua People’s Congress (OPC), Prince Osinbote has promised to take socio-cultural organisation back to the people through a quick re-positioning and deliberate restructuring to make it viable, stronger and better to achieve its primary goals.
Osinbote who spoke at a seminar held in Lagos on Thursday November 7 in a motive to empower and sensitize, said the leadership of the Congress aimed at promoting tradition and securing the rights of the entire Oodua nation.
He said he has resolved to chase out the bad eggs, adding that bonafide members of the OPC should remain law-abiding and loyal to all rules and regulations of Nigeria as any act of irresponsibility and hooliganism would not be condoned.
While recounting the life and times of the late Frederick Fasehun, Osibote said the legacies of the deceased as the Founder of the group will never be forgotten.
Reacting to speculations about other factions of the OPC, Osinbote insisted that there is no other faction of the Oodua People’s Congress, the organization founded by the late Fredrick Fasheun, currently led by him is the only one..
He however urged the members of the public to dismiss such rumour.
