It was a night of glamour and professional recognition for the Public Relations arm of Strategic Outcomes Limited, SOL PR, and leading Pay-TV company, Multichoice Nigeria, as they scooped awards in different categories at the 2022 Brandcom Award Night.
On the prestigious award night, SOL PR, was crowned the Most Outstanding Public Relations Agency in Strategic Communications. The award was in recognition of the firm’s contributions to successful public relations campaigns of several brands in the outgoing year.
Commenting on the awards, Bamidele Johnson, Chief Operating Officer of Strategic Outcomes Limited, expressed his delight at recognising the company’s professionalism. “It is always a pleasure when you are recognised for your contributions in such a highly competitive industry like ours.
“This award shows that our professional and strategic contribution to brand building is not going unnoticed. This is also a call to do more and we would continue to adhere to high professional standards while providing topmost solutions to communication problems,” Johnson said.
In the corporate category, MultiChoice Nigeria received an award for the Most Outstanding Media & Entertainment Company of the Year. DStv took home the Brand Leadership in Pay-Tv Award, while GOtv was awarded the Most Outstanding Pay-Tv Brand of the Year in the brand category.
In the individual category, Tope Oshunkeye, Executive Head, Marketing, MultiChoice Nigeria received an award as one of the Top 20 Marketing Executives in Nigeria. Caroline Oghuma, Executive Head Corporate Affairs, MultiChoice Nigeria, also bagged the Corporate Communications Professional of the Year Media & Entertainment award.
Also part of the award winners was premium water brand, Aquafina, which received the Marketing Campaign of the Year award for its impressive #PadiOfLife campaign.
